Frequently Asked Questions

Our minimum age of axe throwing participation is now 8 years old with guardian consent. Parties with participants ages 8 - 12 MUST be Guided only for your child's safety! Knife throwing is available for 12 years and older. All participants under the age of 18 must have guardian consent and supervision. AN ADULT MUST BE PRESENT FOR MINOR TO THROW.

We are open for reservations Wednesday through Friday generally between 4pm and 10pm. Saturday from 12pm - 11pm. Sunday from 12pm - 6pm. Earlier sessions available with advance notice. Additional times added regularly. Call for more information. 

Private parties available 7 days a week with advance notice and deposit.

We can accommodate nearly any size group. Whether it's just you and boo or all of your closest friends, we have an option for you. 

For a 1 Hour session: The optimum throwing amount per range is 6 participants. Parties less that 6 could be combined with other parties up to the maximum of 6. Private session can have up to 10 people per range.

For a 2 Hour session: The optimum throwing amount per range is 8-10 participants. 2 Hour sessions can hold up to 12 people per range.

A group discount is available for parties of 16 or more with advance purchase.

We have a 48 Hour Cancellation policy.  If you need to cancel or reschedule the activity for any reason, you MUST contact us 48 hours ahead of your session. Any time after that can only be rescheduled (no refunds) and is subject to a rescheduling fee. This includes any unused tickets.

Our throwing area is an insulated cavernous warehouse with Air Conditioning! On days with nice weather, we have large bay doors that open to the outside. We also offer our new BIG AXE OUTDOOR RANGE for private parties with advance reservations. 

Axe throwing means participants will be actively throwing axes. Same with Knife Throwing. Wear comfortable clothing to have the best chance of sticking your steel. Closed toed shoes are required, no exceptions. We will not offer a refund just because you like to live dangerously in your flip flops!

We do not provide food. We currently have no preferred catering. Guests are more than welcome to bring their own food or utilize delivery services. We do not provide utensils but have adequate seating for your nomming pleasure. We would be more than happy to give local recommendations if needed. 

NO OUTSIDE DRINKS ALLOWED SINCE WE DO SERVE ALCOHOL!

We offer a variety of beer, wine, and mead. We love to support local breweries and have wide variety of popular and craft beer. 

Get the full experience and try MEAD, or Honey Wine, and channel your inner Viking while you throw.

Wine and Mead are both available by the glass or by the bottle.

By making safety our highest priority, we create an environment that axe throwing participants can learn how to safely handle our steel. All active ranges are monitored or facilitated by our highly trained and TABC-Certified Axe Masters. 

If you come into the facility impaired, you will not be allowed to throw. If at any time we feel someone is putting themself or others at risk, they will be asked to leave.

NO OUTSIDE BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED. LIQUOR IS NOT ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES, INCLUDING THE PARKING LOT!

We do! Currently we do not have an online option but feel free to swing by and check out our latest inventory. Most of our axes are WATL competition axes, including the Butcher, the Ace of Spades, the Corporal, etc. 

We also have a selection of WKTL knives for sale as well. 

Any blade purchased at Texas Axe can be brought in to sharpen at no charge!

When you go to book your axe-perience, choose your date and time. 

On the payment screen, type in your code where it says "Click here to redeem a Gift Card / Promo Code".

Promo codes can not be added after a purchase is finalized!
